Production Editing

For journals that do not need the full back office service, but still want to elevate the journal’s online presence with multiple file formats and metadata deposits, Open Academia is offering a Production Editor service that includes:

• Copyediting and typesetting (via a professional supplier)

• Proofreading (liaising with authors, editors and typesetter)

• Online publication in PDF, HTML, EPUB, XML format

• Delivery of content to indexing- and archiving services

• DOI/Metadata deposits (including references) to CrossRef

• Longterm preservation by Portico

When a manuscript has been accepted for publication, Open Academia will step in and take care of the entire production and publication process, in close cooperation with authors and editors.

The Production Editor services come at a cost of USD 55/EUR 50/SEK 580 per published page (PDF). VAT will be added to customers within Sweden and the European Union, except non-Swedish organizations that provide their VAT-number.
